Motor City Anthropology: Doing Diversity in Detroit, Past & Present
With Detroit focused coursework and urban service learning projects, this learning community provides an opportunity for students to apply what they learned in cultural anthropology and urban archaeology classes to an Anthropology of the City project. Through our courses and community experiences, students learn anthropologically about the different communities, people, political and economic forces, environmental settings, histories and styles of life that make up a city. This LC is linked with ANT 1100 (CRN 13596) for the Fall semester.
