Canadian

You are considered a Canadian student if you are a citizen or permanent resident of Canada. If you are a U.S. citizen living in Canada, you should complete the university application for domestic undergraduate students.

Admission requirements

Incoming first-year students

  • You must have a total GPA of 68 percent. Alternatively, if you have a GPA between 62-67.5 percent, you must also have a minimum SAT score of 990 (math and reading) or a minimum composite ACT score of 21.

  • All of your additional documentation, including test scores, must be official, attested or in its original form.

  • Submit an SAT/ACT score, or submit test-optional documents (two letters of recommendation, two essays, and an activities list).

  • Submit all application documents by December 1 to be considered for merit-based scholarships

Transfer students

  • You must have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5 and at least 24 transferable credits from any colleges, community colleges or universities you have attended.

    • Use the transfer credit equivalency tables to find out which credits will transfer to WSU.

    • If you don't have 24 transferable credits, we will review your official high school transcript. If this is the case, make sure you meet first-year admission requirements.

  • All of your additional documentation must be official, attested or in its original form, including test scores.

If you plan to apply to a professional program such as nursing, social work, or pharmacy and health sciences, contact these programs individually for additional requirements.
