Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) every year to apply for financial aid. This includes grants, loans and work-study programs.
- 2025-26 FAFSA - Apply for fall 2025, winter 2026 and spring/summer 2026 semesters.
- 2024-25 FAFSA - Apply for fall 2024, winter 2025 and spring/summer 2025 semesters.
Step 1: Create an FSA ID
- To file and electronically sign your FAFSA, you will be asked to create an FSA ID.
Step 2: Have your tax return and income information available
- Use the IRS Direct Data Exchange to transfer your tax data directly onto your FAFSA.

Step 3: File your FAFSA

- New first-year undergraduates are encouraged to file the FAFSA early to be considered for all available funding options.

Step 4: Follow up

We will use the data on the FAFSA to determine your eligibility for financial aid.

Check the Financial Aid Portal in Academica for any additional required documents. Complete your requirements early so your aid is ready for you when you need it. You cannot receive aid unless your requirements have been completed. Federal loans can only be processed while you are still enrolled for the semester.
2025-26 requirements will be available in late January 2025.
Avoid delays
Submit your FAFSA and all documents early for maximum aid eligibility.
- 2024-25 financial aid offers to all students will continue throughout the year as new FAFSA information is received.
- 2025-26 undergraduate merit scholarships are offered at the time of admission.
- 2025-26 financial aid offers to first-time undergraduates will begin in late January.
