You can qualify for military or veteran student status if you are eligible for one of the following programs:

First things first
To be eligible for VA education benefits:
- Contact the Office of Military and Veterans Academic Excellence.
- Apply to Wayne State using the university application and submit the $25 application fee.
- Submit the appropriate education benefit documents.

You should receive an admission decision within three weeks of submitting your application or any outstanding materials.
If you plan to major in music or dance, be sure to schedule an audition with the department.
Deadlines
Admission occurs on a rolling basis each semester prior to the start of classes.
International students
Submit all application materials by the appropriate date, depending on the semester in which you plan to start classes:
Fall (Sept.Dec.) Aug. 1
Winter (Jan.April) Dec. 1
Spring/summer (MayAug.) April 1
